We have put together this website not only to offer the services of our Proven Chocolate Cocker Spaniel stud dog, Oscar (KC Name Oso Animado SP: Lively Bear) but also to provide a useful resource for the breeding and rearing of Cocker Spaniel pups. We also provide via our website FREE COCKER SPANIEL PUPPY ADVERTISING for all UK cocker spaniel breeders (advertising is free of charge no catches) so we also often have on the site litters of Cocker Spaniel pups for sale.
About Our Stud Dog Oscar
After rearing 4 litters of Cocker Spaniels here in north Yorkshire over the last few years from our female gun dogs, Bella, Tyler and Milly we decided to keep the only chocolate dog from Bella's Feb 2007 litter of 8 (4 bitches 4 dogs) Being the only Chocolate dog amongst 7 black pups Oscar naturally stood out from the crowd. Oscar is incredibly affectionate and gentle as are all our dogs which is one of the reasons Cocker Spaniels make such good pets. As well as being a household pet Oscar is also a working cocker (not that he would call it work!) accompanying us on our local rough shoot where he enthusiastically flushes and retrieves with an abundance of stamina and energy.
Health & Pedigree
Oscar has a long and distinguished gun dog pedigree with 13 field trial champions/winners in the last 4 generations and 48 across 6 generations. He has a clean bill of health with no adverse medical history with himself or his mother and father. He's a solid dog of average build for Cocker Spaniel gun dogs with a muscular neck, legs and shoulders and is incredibly fast across ground. His chocolate coat is shiny and smooth with lighter accents of hair on his ears and feathers on both front and hind legs. More photos of Oscar and our other cocker spaniels.
